Additional info
One dish the menu offers to make vegan
The calabacitas soup is the only item on the whole menu with a dietary note attached. It reads "served vegan upon request", which is the restaurant telling you the change is available. Everything else here is either a change I am suggesting or a dish whose description simply happens to name no animal products.
Nothing else on this menu is labeled
Lamezze does not mark dishes vegan or vegetarian. The falafel, hummus, roasted cauliflower and the rest are listed here because their published descriptions name no meat, dairy or egg. That is weaker than the restaurant saying so. The falafel binder, the dill tahini and the vinaigrettes are all worth a question.
The kitchen is not a Mediterranean-only kitchen
The menu runs from shawarma and kebabs to carne asada tacos, salmon and burgers, and several dishes are finished with queso fresco, feta or parmesan. If a plain-looking vegetable side matters, say so when you order rather than assuming it arrives bare.
